- Smart IPC™ supports direct integration with your back-end ERP or parts logistics systems used to support parts purchasing and parts inventory management. It enables your maintenance and engineering teams to easily create their selected parts lists or pick lists that can be exported via a “Smart Cart” utility directly into your inventory management application screens. Or they can also choose to create a “Smart Cart” pick list that is forwarded over to one of your purchasing or inventory team members, and your team takes it from there.
- All parts information is extracted directly from the source data in the IPC and then exported via the “Smart Cart” utility directly into your inventory applications for queries. No re-keying of parts data is required, and you can view and interact with screens in your parts inventory or purchasing systems from within the Smart IPC interface. This greatly increases accuracy in parts-related searches and parts requests sent by your maintenance teams over to purchasing and parts warehouses or depots. This can virtually eliminate time wasted on handling and ordering incorrect parts because someone typed in the wrong part number.
